Meditation : I am that (So Hum)
I have spending more time meditating it is very calming to my mind and soul. When I feel ungrounded : trouble sleeping or making decisions or general uneasiness. I try to incorporate meditation in my day to help. Sometimes I use a mantra and mudra yoga with deep breathing to connect to my mind and body.
Going back to Mantras I was practicing one today which I always enjoy and I though I would share it with you: So Hum the sanskrit world means.
So ( I am)
Hum (that)
(that) means the energetic being
the words also mimic our breathing pattern
Helps to connect your mind and body.
Find a comfortable seating on a pillow, blanket, or a chair keeping your back strait.
Focus on your breath.
Connect with your body.
I like to have relaxing music playing
Start with 5 mins of meditation work your way to longer as you feel comfortable.
